Hardies marks retirement of two employees in Perth
Hardies Property & Construction Consultants has marked the retirement of two long-standing employees in Perth with almost 60 years of combined service with a presentation and dinner as an expression of gratitude for valued contribution to the growth of the firm.
Malcolm MacKillop, Senior Quantity Surveyor, and Colin McNeill, Senior Building Surveyor, had both been based at Hardies’ Perth office for 43 and 15 years respectively.
Gordon Butt, Partner at Hardies’ Perth office, said: “We are sorry to bid a fond farewell to two exceptional long-standing members of staff and thank them both for their excellent contribution and loyal service to the firm over many years.
“When Malcolm joined the firm in 1974, Hardies only had three offices. As you might expect, there have since been some significant changes and developments in the firm since then, most recently with our merger at the end of last year with Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, giving us a combined total of 38 offices throughout Scotland and establishing us as the country’s leading powerhouse in property and construction consultancy services with the largest number of building surveyors, valuation surveyors and related construction consultancy professional services in Scotland.”
Hardies serves clients in both the private and public sectors with a complete operation in property and construction development, including property valuation, Building and Quantity Surveying and Project Management. The firm also handles the leasing and sale of commercial and industrial buildings; CDM Co-ordination and the provision of Energy Performance Certificates.
