Antiques, jewellery and collectables valuation day at The Avenue
A special antique, jewellery and collectables valuation day with McTear's Auctioneers takes place at The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns on Sunday 19th March.
Michelle McCabe, Centre Manager at The Avenue, said: “We’re delighted to welcome back McTear’s Auctioneers to the mall following the success of our first ever valuation day last summer.
“Once again, anyone interested in selling an item, or just interested in finding out what it’s worth, can bring their antiques, jewellery or collectables along to the McTear’s specialists for complimentary valuation and auction advice. Who knows, that piece of ‘junk’ gathering dust in your attic might be worth a fortune!”
Larger items, such as furniture, cannot be valued on the day, though a home visit can be arranged with McTear’s specialists for larger items and collections.
The antique valuation day takes place on Sunday 19th March from 12 noon till 4pm while Funday Sunday, free entertainment for all the family, takes place as normal from 11am till 4pm.
The Avenue Shopping Centre, owned by NewRiver, offers shoppers a warm and welcoming shopping experience conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre.
