Shepherd sells business park in Ibrox, Glasgow
Acting on the instruction of Jobs & Business Glasgow, the Glasgow City Council Arm’s Length External Organisation delivering economic development activity on behalf of the city, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has sold a mixed use business park in Ibrox, Glasgow.
Beech House and Clifford Court, situated within the well-established Ibrox Business Park, south west of Glasgow city centre, provide a 15,890 sq ft of fully let office and industrial accommodation situated in Ibrox Business Park and comprise six individual units let to four separate tenants.
Following receipt of a number of offers at closing date, Clifford Court has been sold to Buccleuch Property Group for £875,000 while Beech House has been sold to W.G.M. Engineering for £315,000. Ryden acted on behalf of Buccleuch Property and Savills acted for W.G.M. Engineering.
Shepherd Managing Partner Steve Barnett said: “We are delighted to conclude these deals which, within the current economic climate, confirm confidence in the market for attractive investment opportunities in the right locations.
“Given the lack of high yielding modern investment stock currently within Scotland’s west coast investment market, levels of interest were strong during the marketing campaign.”
Tommy Docherty, Head of Property at Jobs & Business Glasgow, added: “JBG is delighted with these deals and thanks Shepherd for its partner-led approach and professionalism throughout the sales process.”
Ibrox Business Park comprises a group of terraced business/ industrial units, together with a two storey office pavilion, all grouped around a central courtyard. The park is secure by design, incorporating CCTV, monitored fire and safety alarm systems.
