Shepherd surveyor moves from Aberdeen to Inverness office
The Inverness office of Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has lured a high-flying surveyor from its Aberdeen office to join its ranks in its busy commercial property department.
A graduate of Edinburgh University and The Royal Agricultural College, Stephen Thomas joined Shepherd’s commercial valuation department in its Aberdeen office five years ago acting for major lenders and private clients.
Commenting on his move to Inverness, he said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent working within the Aberdeen office’s commercial department where I was able to make a number of professional and social connections, but the opportunity to relocate to Inverness proved too tempting to resist.
“Relocating to Inverness has enabled me to further develop my career in what is a buoyant commercial property marketplace. The team has been extremely welcoming and I’m really looking forward to renewing and developing my contacts throughout Inverness-shire.”
Inverness Associate Neil Calder added: “We’re delighted to have been able to lure Stephen from Aberdeen to join us in Inverness, where he is already enhancing our commercial offering to a growing client base.”
Shepherd is a national surveying practice providing its clients with decades of experience and expertise together with national resource and comprehensive local market knowledge. The Inverness office is one of a network of 34 offices Shepherd operates throughout Scotland.
