Loch Fyne whisky marquee overflowing with festive spirit at Best of the West Festival 2017!
The Loch Fyne whisky marquee at next month’s Best Of The West Festival (BOWFest) – held in the grounds of the magnificent Inveraray Castle from 8-10th September 2017 – will be overflowing with festive spirit!
Offering a perfect opportunity to sample a range of the finest west coast malts, the marquee will feature a comprehensive range of products from various distilleries, including: Abhainn Dearg, Arran Auchentoshan, Ben Nevis, Bowmore, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila Glen Scotia, Glengoyne, Glengyle / Kilkerran, Isle of Mull Blended Whisky, Jura, Kilchoman, Lagavulin, Laphroaig Littlemill, Loch Fyne Whiskies, Loch Lomond, Oban, Springbank, Talisker and Tobermory.
Eleanor, Duchess of Argyll, Best Of The West Festival founder and chairperson, said: “Whether you’re an aspiring whisky drinker or a more experienced 'drammer', this year’s Loch Fyne whisky marquee offers something for everyone. Come along and speak to the professionals who put the stuff together and taste for yourself the quality of the huge range of whiskies from the west coast of Scotland.”
And the whisky marquee is complemented once again by a food tent jam-packed with a host of delicious delicacies from Argyllshire while music headliners at the festival include: Eddi Reader, Skerryvore, Skipinnish, Blazin' Fiddles, Hunter and the Bear and Tide Lines.
Inveraray Castle, the jewel in the West Highland’s crown, provides a stunning venue for the event, which is fully under cover. The imposing, turreted castle, sits on the edge of Loch Fyne surrounded by the breath-taking scenery of the west coast. The Festival will take place in the grounds of the castle with the castle itself, hills and loch as a backdrop.
