Main dish options are: roast borders turkey; escalope of seared organic salmon fillet with pesto crust; pave of prime Scottish beef, wild mushroom, leek and asparagus lasagne; penne piccanti and Tuscan vegetable. Dessert options are: artisan Italian cheeses; traditional Christmas pudding; raspberry crème brulee and warm chocolate tart

The three course festive dinner menu, with coffee for £24.95, offers starters of: cream of wild mushroom soup; twice baked smoked salmon soufflé; minestrone soup; parfait of chicken liver and Stornoway black pudding.

The Italian Bistro’s three course Christmas Day menu, with tea or coffee for £45 (£22.50 for children under 7), offers starters of: cream of butternut squash soup; salad of smoked salmon and crayfish; parfait of chicken liver and Galia melon.
